VLOG MONTH 11 - STAYCATION OR "HEMESTER"

The world is still up side down, the damn Covid-19 virus won't give in, a risk for our elderly and fragile. Forcing people to isolation and also forcing people to change their travel and vacation plans. That's where we are at the moment. Still in Sweden.

Our original plan was to be down by the Alps and the Mediterranean by now but as you all know, borders are still closed. For us, at the moment, it's not really a problem cause it's June and summer in Sweden is really showing its' best side!

Since we left Åre in end of April we have really just been hanging around the west coast, traveling up and down from Skåne to Gothenburg. Last weekend the Swedish authorities changed their recommendations, making it possible to travel round within Sweden and soon also within Europe. But we're taking it slow and see what happens.

That's why the new-old expression STAYCATION or "HEMESTER" is getting a boost. We're not in a hurry (yet), we can easily spend the summer in Sweden before we head south down in Europe. Or if. If the situation changes.

We will get back to you as soon as we know our plans for the future, for now, let's continue our travels through Sweden. Next month we will have been on the road for a year, that's something to celebrate!
